1. Introduction
Hexa Cover is a floating tile made of recycled plastic, in the manufacture of which freon was not used. It is resistant to environmental factors, with a hexagonal shape that has symmetrical ribs on each side. The ribs ensure the uniform placement and distribution of the tiles on the surface of the liquid, without overlapping.
The hexagonal shape leads to an attachment of the tiles in a compact and rigid structure in the shape of a carpet that covers 95% of the water surface. It is worth mentioning that strong winds can ruin this arrangement, but once it stops, the tiles arrange themselves without any outside intervention.
Since its launch in 2004, Hexa-Cover® Floating Cover has been chosen for a vast number of installations globally, making the Hexa-Cover® Floating Cover the market leading solution. Today Hexa-Cover® Floating Cover is used on almost all forms of basins, lagoons, reservoirs, containers, ponds and tanks.
